Great sun protection! I was a little nervous since there’s no spf number but it rubs in well and I didn’t get burnt at all after being in the direct sun for an hour
It is thick enough to cover well. You can tell where you have applied it, which I like. It looks nice on my face and I like the smell. It does a good job of sun protection, though I am not a sun bather. It works well for everyday use.
This sun balm blends in your skin flawlessly. I was in the sun all day and did not get burned!

The Sun mallow is a balm and a little goes a long way. I like that it has a slight vanilla smell but not overpowering! It’s great and of course no sunburns.

I gave my first jar to my daughter but she never told me if she liked it. So I decided to keep the 2nd jar and try it out. It has a familiar scent but bc of the zinc oxide, is a bit more solid than the tallow fragranced jars I usually use. I love it, though and look forward to using it regularly!

The sun balm spread evenly with out any greasy texture which allowed my skin to breath with adequate sun protection. I was in the sun and water all day without any sunburn or complaints. I would recommend this and have gifted this to a family member who is allergic to sunscreen with chemicals, so far so good! Thank you!

I've been using the Tallow Sun Balm for over a week now and have had a great experience. I was initially concerned that the product would cause me to breakout, but so far so good! It keeps my skin moisturized and safe from the sun without making me overly oily like normal sunscreen does. The product goes on very light. I also have issues with skin redness. The tallow sun balm has been great in helping to calm my skin down and neutralize the redness. I like that a little goes a long way, so I'm sure the jar will last a lot longer than normal 4 oz sunscreen products do, but I plan to buy more as soon as I run out. I also wanted to call out the customer service at Amallow. UPS lost my initial order and didn't deliver it. A simple email to the support team, and they immediately sent a replacement order free of charge. I really appreciate the hassle free service. They've certainly earned my long-term business and loyalty.
Been looking for a good sunscreen that I don't have a reaction to. I like chemical sunscreen because it wears better under makeup then what physical sunscreen can. But I don't want to be putting chemicals on my face everyday. And a lot of chemical sunscreen tends to burn my skin or my eyes. And when I would use physical sunscreen it wouldn't look well under makeup or it tends to break my face out. So when Amallow come out with a non-nano zinc with clean ingredients I thought to myself well I've tried about 25 other kinds so I might as well try theirs. So for the first couple of days I had a little bit of trouble with the blending of it. And also after I would wear it all day it made my skin look dry and chalky. So for anyone that is having the same issues don't lose hope. To rectify this I would put a little of the Amallow moisturizer on first and then follow with their sunscreen. And let me tell you it makes all the difference in the world! It Smooths onto my skin with ease and my face just glows all day long. And my Foundation seems to sit nicely on top of it but because my skin has such a nice glow to it I've actually foregone my Foundation and just worn mascara, a little bit of lipstick, and some cream blush. Will definitely be purchasing again!

I love this product! I have been using tallow on my dry, eczema-prone skin for several years, and I’m very excited to now have a great tallow-based sun protectant. This sun balm goes on smoothly, feels amazing on my skin, has a nice subtle tint (replacing my much-less-subtle mineral foundation) and makes me smell like chocolate cake. What more could I ask for??

I’ve tried making my own homemade sun block and it’s ok, this is way better! I used it for the first time at a group outing; I was in the hot sun for nearly four hours. I applied it to my face, chest and arms but I forgot to apply it to my upper back. The only place I had sunburn was on my back. I can honestly say it does work well. The texture take some getting use to if you are a fan of traditional chemical sunscreen. I don’t mind the texture at all, it’s moisturizing and it a healthy alternative to ‘sunscreens’ that contain carcinogens.
I used this out on the lake & didn’t burn. I have fair skin too. I put it on my face, which at first it had a white tint but then went away. Would recommend this product.

Not only do I love this sunscreen product, the free dedorant sample I received in my package is amazing! I've been using a different tallow deodorant, but I'll definitely be ordering this next time. LOVE.
The sun balm was fantastic! It gave me enough protection from uv rays, but also allowed me to get a little sun kissed. There were no white streaks and blended seamlessly you could not tell I was wearing sun balm. Is the perfect daily facial protection from the sun.
