What is beef tallow?
Beef tallow is a natural substance made by gently rendering fat from cows, particularly the interior fat known as suet. This process transforms suet into a versatile and nutrient-rich fat that has been used for generations, especially in traditional skincare routines. Today, beef tallow is valued as a natural alternative in skincare products for those seeking simpler, more wholesome ingredients.
Why do I need to add tallow to my skincare routine?
Beef tallow is packed with skin-loving nutrients like vitamins A, D, E, and K. Its fatty acid profile closely mimics our skin’s natural oils, so it absorbs easily without clogging pores. It hydrates deeply, calms inflammation, and helps repair and protect your skin—naturally.
Our ingredients
We use 100% grass-fed grass-finished tallow sourced from US farms, which is the highest quality and most nutrient-dense form of tallow you can find. We use organic sweet almond oil and 100% pure and USDA organic essential oils in our scented options.
The “no” list
At Amallow, we like to keep it simple. We don’t add anything extra to our products. No preservatives, chemicals, toxins, GMOs, fillers, dyes, or artificial fragrances. If you can’t pronounce it, we don’t include it in our products.

Are your tallow products pregnancy safe
Our tallow moisturizers are generally considered safe to use on your entire body during pregnancy and nursing because they contain natural ingredients that are typically well-tolerated by the skin. However, since there is conflicting opinions on essential oils during pregnancy, we advise to consult with your doctor if you are considering purchasing a scented version.
Do your products have any certifications?
Yes! Our tallow creams have undergone HRIPT (Human Repeat Insult Patch Test) dermatological testing and was proven to be non-irritating and well-tolerated by most skin types, including sensitive skin. However, since our formula contains almond oil, individuals with nut allergies should consult a doctor or perform a patch test before use.

I am pleasantly surprised. Other natural deodorants just don’t get the job done, so my expectations were low for this one to work. But it proved me wrong. It keeps me fresh and dry all day, and it doesn’t stain my shirts. It smells good too. The only downside is that it’s not as affordable if you’re on a budget.
